Movie report on the Hatching:

We watched a movie called called the Hatching, and this is my movie report on it:

Once, a family of 4 lived in a house when a crow flew in and they had to spend a lot of time trying to catch it. During that time, the crow broke many things, and when the girl, Tinja, caught it, her mother broke it’s neck, furiously.

Tinja found the crow’s egg, and there began to keep it warm. She kept it in her teddy bear’s pocket. There, it grew bigger, and bigger, and bigger every single day. She wondered what would be growing inside that egg; but she knew it was alive.

One day, the animal hatched. She was so terrified, she hid in a cupboard, and the animal might have eaten her, had her father not come, and the animal, in its’ terror, not jumped out of the window and broke it.

Soon after, the bird came back. Tinja and it became friends. The bird’s name was Alli, and together, Alli and Tinja slept together. Tinja did not know what the bird ate, but when she vomited, it ate her vomit. So she ate things for her to vomit up, so Alli could eat.

Apart from Alli killing her friend’s dog, Tinja trusted the bird immensely. Until, once, at her school, the bird turned into a zombie.

Tinja went to live with her mom’s friend for a couple days, and somehow, Alli found her. She’d killed many people, and all of the people were now zombies, but Alli would never ever, ever attack Tinja.

One day, at a gym competition, Alli went into Tinja’s mom’s friend’s room. She would have chopped off the baby’s head with an ax, had Tinja not failed, and the friend scared Alli out.

Now, Tinja and her mom were kicked out.

Back at Tinja’s house, Tinja’s mom was attacked by Alli, and although she did not want to, Tinja said they should kill Alli. They searched the house, and finally, Tinja’s mom found Alli. She wrestled the zombie until Tinja entered.

As Tinja’s mother tried killing Alli with a knife, Tinja stepped into the way, and got stabbed. Instantly, Alli turned from zombie to Tinja herself.

They’d traded.

I really liked this movie! The only thing I didn’t like was how the bird changed from 4 things; for there were two types of zombies. Still, I’d rate it 8/10!
